Farmer Johns Market
FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED
Carrying on the family business with a twist;
Jared and Jenessa de Dood began operating Farmer Johns Market in winter of 2024. They keep busy year round working on the dairy, as well as their own certified organic layer farm. They hope you enjoy the changes they have implemented since taking over the store from previous owners, John and June de Dood
OUR CAFE
Experience the cozy atmosphere of our cafe at Farmer Johns Market with our tots corner and robot-milking viewing area. Indulge in hand crafted cafe drinks as well as treats and sandwiches made in house.
LOCALLY SOURCED PRODUCTS
We do our best to find the most local items while also valuing price and quality. While the majority of our items are sourced within the Okanagan (look for our local sticker) Our short growing season limits us, in result, we rely on the remainder of our province to keep our shelves stocked.

It is important to our family to know where our food comes from as well as the quality of life our animals have. When purchasing products from Farmer Johns Market we don't want to just sell you a product but also educate the public of the farming process that takes place. Many of our products are from hard working small scale farms
